Field notes from Isla Colon:
I have found this butterfly occasionally during the day, when it tends to fly low along fence rows and forest edges. It's more common, however, at lights at night. While many butterfly species occasionally show up at lights, T. virgilius comes with some regularity and generally stays for most of the night.
